Use a handkerchief instead of tissues

Did you know, the amount of tissue paper we use could go around the planet every 2 minutes, or travel to the sun and back every 10 days!

You may associate handkerchiefs with your grandparents, however, they were uknowingly doing their bit to save the planet and reduce paper consumption.

Definitely 100% support this idea! Also try to eliminate single-use paper in all aspects of your life, like paper towels. Just use cloth towels or old cloth scraps. I use cloth towels for everything, including soaking oils/water out of foods and cleaning surfaces.

*TIP: if you have old clothes or towels you are going to throw away, just cut them up into squares and you can use them as rags. If you need more, you can go to your local thrift store or yard sale and buy some old T-shirts to cut up.
