Upcycle what you love: the most beautiful table

Once I fell in love. With a table. A beautiful solid wood table with turned legs.

Unfortunately it was what we call an “attic trove” and in a very bad condition. I bought it anyway because I wanted to support our local social store. The next weekend I spend with polishing and coating (and sweating and cursing), but the result was brilliant. You may not see it properly in the picture, but my little attic table turned out to be a real beauty: a nice whisky like shade, green drawer buttons and a little bit of imperfection. Literally everybody asks me about it when visiting our home.

Conclusion: Be courageous, everybody can do upcycling.

For everyone who wants to stay warm in winter

In winter our heating costs were quite high. We live in an old building and I hated the idea of the warmth just disappearing through doors and windows. That’s why I bought these funny door noodles that only must be cut to the size of your door. Just slip them under the door leaf, you don’t have to drill holes or bolt toghether anything. And yes: We could see the impact on our hetaing bill.

Note: At the moment these door sealers are only available as plastic versions, but I hope there will soon be some made of natural materials.
